Lawrence (Larry) C. Van Iseghem, President/CEO
Larry established Van Technologies in 1991 to serve the coatings industry with environmentally sound, compliant technology. Larry holds a Master's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, has authored a number of patents, and has contributed articles to various coatings related trade journals. Larry also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. In his free time, Larry enjoys the outdoors of Duluth, MN (hunting, fishing, hiking and camping), time with his family and his dog Jake (a yellow lab), and playing ice hockey.

Tom Van Hale, COO/CFO
Tom is our chief operating and financial officer and enjoys the details that make a business run efficiently.  We have set our goals to become a market leader in Industrial Performance Coatings and Tom is a vital element to support our growth strategy.  Tom's background is solid in corporate finance having spent many years in venture capital investment activities.  Tom enjoys our natural surroundings in Duluth, MN by boating and fishing on Lake Superior and our many inland lakes..

Linda L. Van Iseghem, Office Manager
Linda coordinates all the office activities at Van Technologies. She provides the balance necessary so that the technical operations are remained firmly seated in financial reality (we chemists love to create - but it can get expensive). Most incoming calls are handled by Linda and she enjoys the relationships developed with customers, vendors, and the general public. Linda also loves the outdoors, family time (especially time with her granddaughter and grandson).

Teresa M. Donahue, Senior Chemist
Teresa is a lead formulator of coatings and has developed compositions for numerous types of surfaces. There isn’t a challenge that Larry won’t assign to her to face (and he’s assigned and she’s accomplished some tough ones)! Teresa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She enjoys time with her sons Kevin, Cameron, and Brandon, the outdoors, softball, volleyball, bowling, and cheering the UMD Bulldog hockey team on to victory.

Dave Merrill, Manufacturing Supervisor
Dave coordinates the mixing, blending, and dispersion operations for all the various coating compositions manufactured by Van Technologies and conducts all shipping and receiving details. That’s a lot to handle but Dave always takes it in stride and meets our aggressive scheduling time after time.  Dave was active in boxing and still enjoys the local amateurs and professionals.

Joe Roberts, Manufacturing
Joe supports our manufacturing efforts and brings a steady confidence to the tasks assigned.  Joe is a key asset to keep manufacturing at Van Technologies organized, and running smoothly.  In his free time Joe enjoys bowling, hunting and time at the cabin.
